Lifelong learning, driven by industry
Building the skills necessary to embed digital innovations within the workplace means incorporating them into training frameworks – leading to a new wave of learning that helps businesses adapt to industrial digitalisation.
What are micro-credentials?
Micro-credentials are a form of short-course training that delivers highly relevant digital skills that are directly applicable to industry.
Delivered through Skills Lab, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), micro-credentials enable the development of both a technical and soft skillset supported by trainers working in the industry.
Skills Lab is leading the way in industrial digitalisation - supporting clients to innovate, modernise, digitise and improve how they do things.
Our specified training courses are industry-driven and tailored to individual organisations. Drawing on the collective SAGE Group experience working with clients across multiple industries, we bring exceptional industry knowledge to our training programmes.

The micro-credentials on offer by Skills Lab have been developed with industry in mind, ensuring that the units meet industry-specific needs.
How to participate
Expressions of interest are now being taken through Skills Lab.
Training and assessment of units will be by flexible delivery combining self-paced blended learning, one-on-one learning, and lab/site-based performance activities.
Participants will learn and be assessed on skills critical for industry-specific needs, achieving a relevant, recognisable micro-credential.
Micro-credentials allow for more efficient and flexible learning, with units paced to be delivered in conjunction with the learner’s work.
